Rachel Denny
I saw her listing this morning and laughed in awe at the idea. She knits “trophy’s”. My favorite is the deer in Norwegian knit pattern.
Excellent idea. Wonderful conversation pieces.

…and no, it’s not what it sounds like. I would like to know how she decided on the name though! Be sure and look at the Xmas with Krampus too (funny!) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18693379

The Pondering Pool (aka Susan Mrosek)
I love this artists work. I first discovered her earlier this year and have since ordered a number of my favorites as 5X7 cards, framed them and created a visual display with my small project bags in my bedroom-it’s eclectic and amuses me every time I go there.
Some of my favorites are “She Let Go”, “Red Tennies”, “Live”, “Grapes”, “Exclamations”, “Clarity Bucket”, “Comfortable Shoes”, “Present Yourself”, Not On A Tuesday”, “Grieve Not”, “Splits”, “From Her Shell”, “Laughed to Death”, “Nonjudgemental”, “Play the Keys”, “Beside the Point”, “Yodel” and “Joyous” …and, and, and….see for yourself.

A second artist that I discovered this year is Story People (aka Brian Andreas). This company is based in Iowa and I first saw their work on display at Poopsie’s in Galena. An absolutely stunning kitchen table of the 4 seasons. The price reflects both their uniqueness and popularity. Their cards are reasonable though! Enjoy

Click on prints and read all of them if you have the time.

I discovered this lovely knit scarf today while surfing Etsy for some other items. I admit the listing also inspired me in my blog title.
